A unit of Symbiosis International Deemed University, the Symbiosis Institute of Technology is located near Lupin Research Park in west Pune, about 26 kilometres from Pune International Airport. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in various streams. The institute’s infrastructure includes a workshop equipped with various tools and machines, a library stocked with books, journals and e-resources with access to a range of academic databases and networks, support for research activities, departmental laboratories stocked with the necessary equipment, and a lab providing IT services and resources. The college infrastructure includes a number of , canteens and facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, a facility for primary medical services, and housing for female and male students. The institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms including Microsoft, Google, IBM and Siemens.
