The university is located on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway in Uttarakhand. To graduate with a bachelor's degree from Quantum University students must earn credits from courses that are broadly divided into four categories - foundation courses, major courses (program core and program electives), open electives (minors) and passion programs (PROPS). The number of credits to be earned/passed would depend on the program that the student is perusing.The successful completion of a programme depends on earning the prescribed number of credits. The number of credits earned by the learner entitles degrees termed the Major and Minor. The Major indicates specialization in a particular discipline.The Flexible Credit System ties up courses ranging from introductory to advanced level. These courses cater to students of varying capabilities. The greatest exploit of this new approach is that it allows students to choose the courses, the difficulty level and the pace of learning.
