A unit of the Paavi Institutions, the Paavai Engineering College is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. An autonomous institute, its 15-acre campus is located on the Salem-Namakkal Road near Pachal village in Tamil Nadu’s Namakkal district, about 20 kilometres from Namakkal Railway Station. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in a number of disciplines. Academic resources include a library equipped with electronic and print resources with access to several online databases and networks, support for research activities, and several well-equipped department laboratories. College facilities include residences for male and female students, a bus service for local travel, facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, canteen services, and a facility for primary medical services. The institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms including Schneider Electric India, Wipro, TCS and Delpi TVS.
