A unit of the Durgapur Group of Institutions, the NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. Its 25-acre campus is located off the Delhi-Kolkata Highway, near Arra in West Bengal’s Durgapur subdivision, Paschim Bardhaman district, about 10 kilometres from Durgapur Railway Station. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a number of disciplines. Academic resources include a lab providing IT services and resources, a library equipped with electronic and print resources with access to several online databases and networks, and departmental laboratories stocked with the necessary equipment. The institute’s facilities include facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, hostel accommodation for female and male scholars, and an on-campus canteen. The institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms including Jet Airways, ICICI Bank, JWT and Standard Chartered.
