Around 17 kilometres away from Sheikh Ul Alam International Airport, the National Institute of Technology Srinagar’s 67-acre campus is on Srinagar’s Hazratbal Road. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in a number of streams. Academic resources include a workshop for hands-on training, a number of laboratories for the various departments, support for research activities, a library equipped with electronic and print resources with access to several online databases and networks, and a central computer hub. The college infrastructure includes an infirmary for immediate medical care, hostel accommodation for female and male scholars, several canteens and cafeterias, and various fields, courts and kit for sports. The institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms including NTPC, Indian Oil, DRDO and L&T.
