About National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal Karaikal, Pondicherry
Deemed an institute of national importance by the Ministry of Education, the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, Karaikal is located in Puducherry’s Thiruvettakudy, about 10 kilometres north of Karaikal Railway Station. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes under nine departments, including Chemistry, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The institute says its notable recruiters include firms like Samsung, Tata Elxsi, Tech Mahindra, ABB and Alcatel-Lucent, among others.
