Affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, the Kanpur Institute of Technology’s 25-acre campus is located in Kanpur’s Rooma locality, about 15 kilometres from Kanpur Central Railway Station. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams. Academic resources include a library equipped with electronic and print resources with access to several online databases and networks, a number of laboratories for the various departments, and a central computer hub. The college infrastructure includes hostel accommodation for female and male scholars, a number of kitchens, canteens and the like, an on-campus medical facility, a bus service for local travel, and equipment and courts/ fields for indoor and outdoor sports, including a stadium. The institute says its recruiters include firms like HCL, TCS, Infosys and Accenture.
