About JIS University West Bengal

Established through the JIS University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXII of 2014), JIS University came into existence in February 2015, with a vision to redefine higher education in India.

Our mission is to be a top-tier university, attracting students, researchers, and faculty with a commitment to excellence. All courses are accredited by prestigious bodies like UGC, AICTE, BCI, PCI, NCTE, and UNAI. Since 2017, we’ve been proud members of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
