About Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) New Delhi, Delhi

Formerly the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, the university is located in New Delhi’s Kashmere Gate area, about 20 kilometres from Indira Gandhi International Airport and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in several disciplines. The institute offers hostel accommodation, and its infrastructure includes a learning resource centre (including a library offering print and digital resources and access to several e-journals), an IT services division to provide computing facilities and a dispensary for medical care. The university also conducts research in a number of areas, including computer science and engineering, information technology and applied sciences, among others. In terms of placement, the institute’s training and placement cell says its graduates have been recruited by firms like Cisco, Microsoft, Accenture, American Express and Deutsche Bank, among others.
