An autonomous institute affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University in Jalandhar, the institute’s 87-acre campus is located on Ludhiana’s Gill road, about 15 kilometres from the city airport. Offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in a number of streams, the institute’s infrastructure includes hostels for male and female students, a sports complex with a gymnasium, a pool and facilities for indoor and outdoor sports, and NCC (national cadet corps) and NSS (national service scheme) units. Academic infrastructure includes several laboratories under the various departments, a central computer centre, various workshops for hands-on training and a well-stocked central library. In terms of placements, the institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms like Accenture, Cognizant, HCL, Infosys and TCS, among others.
