About Government Model Engineering College Kochi, Kerala

Affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, the institute is located in Kochi’s Thrikkakara area, about 20 kilometres from Cochin International Airport. Offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under various departments, which include computer science engineering, electrical and electronics engineering and mechanical engineering, among others, the institute’s on-campus infrastructure includes a hostel for male students equipped with a gymnasium and various sports facilities, a cafeteria and transport services. Academic infrastructure includes a central library offering access to various print and digital resources and several well-equipped laboratories under the various departments. In terms of placements, the institute says its graduates have been recruited by firms like Bosch, Bjyu’s, CSS Corp, Ericsson, PwC, BPL, Capgemini and Cognizant, among others.
